The Dunes

Colorado, Sand Dunes, Sunset

I’m not a scientist just to be clear.  That is unless having a degree in Political Science makes me one.  It doesn’t.  That being said, I’m pretty sure 90% of the mosquitos in Colorado live by the river that separates these beautiful dunes from the camp ground where visitors can stay at Sand Dunes National Park.  Its nothing a desperate sprint can’t fix but you better move fast. Once you get past this veil of bloodsuckers you are treated to a spectacular landscape unique in this already beautiful state.
